Your Playlist 6/100

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
— Colossians 3:16

I'm a soundtrack gal. I'm not talking about film-scores. I have specific playlists that corresponds to tasks. I've got a soundtrack for work, writing, exercise, devotional, and cleaning (I need to listen to this one more often). We're probably similar: we both have playlists that help us focus on the task at hand. There's more on rotation that just songs.

We also have a playlist of thoughts that's on rotation guiding the direction of your attitude, choices, and desires. And they all spring forth from the central thing you consume the most, hence why it's so important to daily fill ourselves with Christ's word.

The gospel is the starting point of renewed life.

A mind that is centered on the Bible, will teach and urge others unto holiness - life-giving words not from our opinions, but from Truth.

A mind that is centered on the Bible, understands separation between imperfect us and perfect God that was wiped away because the sacrificial atonement of the death of God's perfect son, Jesus. This results in an unwavering thankfulness from the depths of hearts expressed in songs.

A mind that is centered on the Bible, knows the songs we sing, the choices we make, or desires we feed into, have a direct correlation to what mental soundtrack is playing. Whatcha listening to?

Make it personal
